The blueprint of Kuala Lumpur Sentral Station began with the masterplan of a "City within a City" concept designed by the renowned architect Dr. Kisho Kurokawa. The concept of Kuala Lumpur Sentral is holistic, and its design reflects this. Cutting edge technology blends with spacious plazas, indoor courtyards, sidewalk cafes, shops, restaurants and numerous pedestrian walkways. Throughout the complex, landscaped greenery and buffer zones add to a sense of harmony. Oh, and it is also a railway station the mass transit hub for Kuala Lumpur.
