Baguio is a city in the Cordilleras Mountains in the Philippines. Due to its cool mountainous weather Baguio is a treat compared to sweltering lowland Luzon. Baguio was established by the Americans in 1900 at the site of an Ibaloi village. At an altitude of 1600 meters or 5280 feet the climate is far more temperate.
