Melaka Straits Mosque or Masjid Selat Melaka, combines Middle Eastern and  Malay architecture and crafttsmanship.  The mosque faces the Malacca Strait and is built on stilts over the water so that it looks like a floating structure if the water level is high. This mosque showcases modern Islamic architecture.
