Myokenji Kohrin Kyokusai Garden pays homage to Ogata Kohrin, who was a renowned painter from the Edo Period. This garden's design follows a pattern based on 'Sho Chiku Bai Zu" a scroll painting by Kohrin. Centered around the pine tree is a white sand - the composition expresses a curving water stream.
