Lake Toya or Toyako in Japanese is a volcanic caldera lake in the central part of Hokkaido, Japan. The main town is Toyako Onsen, on the western shore where nightly fireworks displays are a big come-on plus the volcanic action of nearby Mt Usu. Along with nearby Lake Shikotsu, Toyako forms a part of the Shikotsu-Toya National Park.
