
The Tokyo Sky Tree is a broadcasting, restaurant and observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo. It is the tallest artificial structure in Japan. The tower's full height is 634.0 metres or 2,080 feet. The project was constructed by Tobu Railway and a group of broadcasters headed by public broadcaster NHK. The Tokyo Sky Tree is the centrepiece of a massive commercial development to enhance Eastern Tokyo. The Tokyo Sky Tree is presently the tallest tower in the world.
